Shopping for a Stoned Genie alternative? Both stores are Southern California budget glass shops, but their policies are far apart. SmokeMEGA ships free from $30, where Stoned Genie needs $125. SmokeMEGA returns cost nothing, where Stoned Genie takes a $10 restocking fee and you pay the postage.
Broken glass is the other big gap: 14 days to report it at SmokeMEGA, 2 days at Stoned Genie. Stoned Genie still wins on a few things, including cheaper mystery boxes and a 30-day return window. Here is every number, checked on October 13, 2026.

Free Shipping: $30 vs $125
This is the widest gap between the two stores. SmokeMEGA ships free once your order passes $30. Stoned Genie ships free only past $125, more than four times higher.
Most budget glass orders land somewhere between $30 and $125. A $45 bong and a bowl ship free from SmokeMEGA. The same order at Stoned Genie pays for shipping.
Speed differs too. SmokeMEGA orders usually arrive in 2 to 3 days. Stoned Genie allows 1 to 2 business days of handling and ships on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, before transit time starts.
What a Return Really Costs
Stoned Genie gives you longer to decide: 30 days against SmokeMEGA's 14. That is a real advantage if you need time.
The cost of sending something back is where it changes. Here is a $40 bong returned unused at each store:
| $40 bong, returned unused | SmokeMEGA | Stoned Genie |
|---|---|---|
| Restocking fee | $0 | $10 |
| Return postage | $0 | Paid by you |
| Original shipping refunded | Order shipped free over $30 | No, shipping fees are non-refundable |
| You get back | $40 | $30, minus the postage you paid |
Stoned Genie also asks for 2 to 3 photos showing the piece is unused, including the bowl area. Hemp and CBD products can't be returned at all.
Broken Glass: 14 Days vs 2 Days
Glass breaks in transit sometimes, at any store. What matters is how long you have to report it.
SmokeMEGA gives you 14 days from delivery and replaces the piece from a photo. Stoned Genie needs the report within 2 days of arrival and offers a replacement or store credit. If a package sits on your porch over a weekend, 2 days can pass before you open it.
Prices Compared
Bongs and dab rigs
| Product | SmokeMEGA | Stoned Genie |
|---|---|---|
| Cheapest bong | $13.99 | $8.99 |
| Bongs listed | 129 | 79 |
| Highest bong price seen | About $120, with 9mm thick beakers from $59.99 | $39.99 |
| Banger with every dab rig | Yes | Yes |
Stoned Genie has the lower entry price on bongs. SmokeMEGA has more bongs to choose from, with bongs under $25 and bongs under $50, plus taller, thicker pieces above that. On dab rigs, both stores include a quartz banger, so neither has the edge there.
Mystery boxes and combos
Stoned Genie wins on mystery box prices. Its boxes start at $2.99 for a single mystery pipe, with a mini bong box at $19.99 and a zong box at $31.99.
SmokeMEGA's mystery boxes start at $19.99 for hand pipes, $44.99 for dab rigs and $49.99 for bongs. The contents differ between stores, so compare what each box says it holds, not just the price.
Reviews and Reputation
On its own site, Stoned Genie shows 4.76 stars from 1,968 reviews. SmokeMEGA shows about 400 reviews averaging 4.68. Stoned Genie has the bigger review base there.
On Trustpilot, the picture flips. SmokeMEGA has 4.1 from 82 reviews. Stoned Genie has 2.9 from just 2 reviews, so its Trustpilot score says little either way.
