How the Loop Actually Works

A standard bong holds its water in the base and that is where it stays. A recycler splits the job across two chambers.

When you inhale, water rises with the smoke into the upper chamber. Instead of sitting there, it drains straight back to the base through a second tube. The cycle repeats for as long as you are pulling, which is where the name comes from.

Harder than a straight tube, yes. Rinse with hot water after sessions so residue never builds up, and use an isopropyl and salt soak when it does. 2. Do recyclers have a lot of drag?
Less than you would expect. The water moves with your pull rather than against it, so the draw feels lighter than a heavily percolated bong of the same size. Design varies, so a multi-arm recycler will pull harder than a simple two-tube one.

3. Can I use a recycler as a dab rig?

4. What size recycler should I get?
